I’ve CASEd the background on the “Be Merry” card on page 39 of the Mini Catalogue. It uses strips of Take A Bow DSP as the background.
I’ve used some Snowy Scenes DSP instead, which gives my card a totally different look.
My card base is Thick Basic White followed by a layer of Petal Pink. Next I’ve added the strips of Snowy Scenes DSP. The tree has been stamped in Garden Green on some Pool Party card stock then die cut using the Decorative Trees Dies.
The tree is decorated with some Silver Foil Sheet die cut decorations and Petal Pink Foiled Gems. The sentiment is from the Decorative Trees stamp set and is White Heat Embossed.
Marvi was in my craft room with me all day while I was making this card. It may have been because it was cooler as I had the air conditioning on. For some reason he likes to lay on my guillotine, which makes it challenging to use.
