Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we are CASEing my favourite suite from the Catalogue, Neutral Noel. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.
I love the “love & joy” card in the above graphic so much I’ve CASEd it twice. One card in the neutral colours as the sample and one card changing up the colours. Which one is your favourite?
I’ve added an embossed background to the first card using the retired Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder. I’ve also used a different pattern of Neutral Noel Specialty DSP.
For the second version I’ve used Gray Granite as the card base followed by a layer of Shimmering Stripes Specialty DSP. The oval is die cut in Hydrangea Hue using the Noel Tidings Dies and embossed with the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder. The houses and leaves are stamped in Mossy Meadow, Gray Granite, Secret Sea and Hydrangea Hue.
The little deer is die cut from some Silver Foil Sheet and the sentiment is White Heat Embossed on Secret Sea card stock. To finish off my project I’ve added a few Dewdrops Embellishments.
Marvi is demanding twice the amount of treats this week because he has to pose with two cards rather than one card. How can you say no to that face?
