Colour INKspiration #CI56

Hello and welcome to my blog.  Today I’m sharing a card I made for the current Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI56.  As well as the chosen colour combination for #CI56, Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss, Melon Mambo and Garden Green, you may also add Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black and metallics to your project.

That cake looks amazing with all those fresh flowers so I’ve used the new Good Morning Magnolia stamp set for my card.

My card base is Blackberry Bliss with a layer of Berry Burst.  I’ve heat embossed my Magnolia with Silver Embossing Powder on a piece of water colour paper.  Using my Aqua Painter I’ve coloured the flower with Melon Mambo and Garden Green Ink.

I’ve added a few Silver Metallic Sequins to tie in with the silver embossing.

Thanks for stopping by.

Colour INKspiration Challenge CI40

Stampin' Cat CI40 Healing Hugs Tin Tile Embossing Folder Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my Blog.  Today’s card is for the Colour INKspiration Challenge CI40.  The colours for the Challenge are Early Espresso, Old Olive and Gorgeous Grape.  You can also add Basic Black, Whisper White, Very Vanilla and Metallics to your creation.

CI40

I love these gorgeous colours together.  I think Early Espresso and Copper are really good together as well.  I’ve used the amazing new Embossing Folder called Tin Tile with some Copper Embossing Powder.

The card base is Early Espresso layered with Very Vanilla Embossed two ways.  The flower and leaves are from Healing Hugs stamped in Gorgeous Grape and Old Olive then I’ve just fussy cut them.  I’ve added some Old Olive 1/8″ Sheer Ribbon down the left hand side of the card also.

I’ve added a cute little Copper Trim bow to my card as well.  I’m so in love with the Healing Hugs Distinktive stamp set.  The flower and leaves have been stamped with only one colour and they look amazing.

I hope you like today’s card.  Thanks for stopping by.

Colour INKspiration Challenge CI39

Stampin' Cat CI39 Pick a Pennant A Little Wild Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my Blog.  Tonight’s card is for the Colour INKspiration Challenge CI39.  They are featuring the Subtles Collection for this challenge. You can pick any 3 Subtle colours.  You can also add in Whisper White, Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Metallics.

CI39

Friends of mine recently had a baby so I thought the Subtles would make a fabulous Baby Card.  Baby Sebastian Leon McEvoy, otherwise known as McSea Bass, was born on the 10th of August 2018 @11.36am.

The banners are from Pick a Pennant and are stamped in Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzaz and Pool Party then after stamping them I’ve embossed the card stock with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  Subtle colours, Subtle embossing folder, did you see what I did there lol?

Here’s a closer look at all that Subtleness.  As Bubs was born on the 10th of August I thought a Lion from A Little Wild was appropriate as he’s a Leo, just like me.  I stamped the lion in Pear Pizzaz and used my Blender Pen to pull some colour just on his mane.  The sentiment is from Baby Bear.  I’ve punched a Scalloped Tag in Soft Sea Foam and layered a Stitched Labels die cut behind it from Twinkle Twinkle DSP.

I hope you like tonight’s card.  Thanks for stopping by.
