I’m using the Somewhere In Time Suite which offers timeless botanical designs in a refined neutral palette and is elevated with luxurious gold foil, bringing sophistication to every handmade card.
I do love the neutral tones of the above card sample however I’ve changed mine up by using some Truly Timeless Specialty DSP rather than the Somewhere In Time DSP.
My card base is Thick Very Vanilla followed by layers of Basic Black then a layer of Truly Timeless Specialty DSP. Using the Timeless Celebrations Dies I’ve die cut the Very Vanilla oval with Gold Foil border and the Basic Black piece behind the oval. I’ve also die cut several small Gold Foil flowers.
Using Black Memento ink I’ve stamped the leaf/flower images on the oval die cut then randomly adhered the Gold Foil flowers. Did you notice the black centres of the flowers? I’ve created them simply by using Black Dimensionals. The sentiment is from the Timeless Celebrations stamp set and is also stamped in Black Memento ink.
Mr Marvi was looking for crumbs on the kitchen floor. He’s been on a diet for the last few months so he spends even more time in the kitchen now. Who knows what he’ll find on the floor. I’m sure he thinks I’m slowly starving him.
