CTC266 – Week 2 – Easter Sketch

Hello and welcome to my blog. Thanks for joining us for week 2 of CTC266, Easter Sketch Challenge. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

This week I’ve tried to stick a little closer to the sketch layout.

My card base is Blueberry Bushel with a layer of Soft Suede. I’ve then layered some Whisper White card stock that’s been embossed with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder. The ribbon is Lovely Lipstick 1/8″ Grosgrain.

I’ve die cut an oval using the Layering Ovals Dies. I thought the pattern on the Noble Peacock SDSP look a bit like a fancy foil Easter Egg wrapper.

My Bunny is from Fable Friends stamp set and I’ve stamped him in Saddle Brown Stazon and coloured him with Stampin’ Blends. I stamped him a second time on a scrap of Lily Impressions DSP then fussy cut his little jacket. I added a couple of Basic Rhinestones as buttons on his jacket.

Last week I started working from home. I’m very lucky to have a job that allows me to do that. Mr Marvi has enjoyed having me home every day and was happy to pose for this weeks photo.
