Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEIng the Catty you can CASE your Favourite stamp set, from either Catalogue. With so many options, what will you CASE this week? You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

One of my favourite stamp sets is Quiet Meadow. I love how you can layer the stamped images over each other to create a collage look to your project.

I’ve CASEd the card on the far right hand side of page 69, of the Annual Catalogue.

My card base is Mossy Meadow followed by a layer of watercolour paper. To create the distressed edges I used a water painter to add water to my paper then I tore the paper against a metal ruler. I think this technique gives you amazing distressed edges. I’ve stamped my watercolour paper using Calypso Coral (first and second generation stamping), Mossy Meadow and Petal Pink inks.

I’ve adhered a couple of Meadows Dies die cuts. The Petal Pink die cut has been embossed with the Timeworn Type embossing folder. I’ve also added a Silver Foil butterfly and a Silver Simply Elegant Trim bow.

Marvi was on hand for a quick photo. He thought he’d get a snack after todays photo but he didn’t really look at the camera.
It’s time to hop over and see Sandra’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
