Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we’re CASEing a Technique. There’s so many options, what is your favourite technique? You may have hopped over from Andrea’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve chosen a paper piecing technique which is used on the “friend” card on page 42 of the Annual Catalogue.

I don’t have the Full Of Life DSP yet so I’ve used some Thoughtful Journey DSP.

I’ve created the word “Celebrate” by cutting some thin strips of Boho Blue, Petunia Pop and Pool Party card stock. Then I’ve adhered them to some adhesive sheet then die cut my word using the Wanted To Say dies. I love the colours in this piece of DSP.

I’ve stamped the small stars directly on the DSP using Blueberry Bushel ink, stamped off. The stars are from the Round We Go stamp set. I’ve also added some Summer Splash 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon and some Basic Rhinestones. The sentiment is from a retired stamp set called Phrases For All.

Marvi was having a quiet nap in the early morning sunshine. He’s funny to watch as he moves from place to place, chasing the sun. He’s having a look at the world upside down day today.
It’s time to hop over and see Monique’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
We’d love for you to join our challenge. Click below and send us a request to join then just upload your new creation to the wall.
Thanks for stopping by.

Such a pretty card. I love the graduation on the sentiment.
This looks so great with the multicoloured sentiment!
