Hello and welcome to my blog. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. I was on a South Pacific Island cruise for New Year. Needless to say I ate too much, partied too hard and didn’t get enough sleep but it was so much fun.
This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing from the SAB Brochure. You may have hopped over from Andrea’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.
I’ve CASEd the “Happy Birthday” card on page 11 of the SAB Brochure. It’s a simple card and a nice way to ease back into card making for the new year.
I have made a few changes to my card however the layout is exactly the same.
My card base is Melon Mambo, which isn’t a colour I use a lot of. The next layer is Basic White which has been embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. I’ve cut five strips of Toadstool Gardens DSP and arranged them on my card front.
The sentiment is die cut using the Wanted To Say Dies then I added a few Adhesive Backed Sequins from the Trio pack.
Marvi was very cuddly when we arrived home. He did have a wonderful pet sitter, Shane, looking after him for 8 days while we were on our cruise. Apparently Marvi woke him up around 4.30am every morning because that’s the time my partner usually gets up every morning. Marvi had a Birthday on the 9th January so we just made it back from our holiday. Can you believe he’s 12 years old now?
