Hello and welcome to my blog. I’m back CASEing this week and we’re CASEing A Scrapbook Layout. I spent last weekend out in the bush at Karara learning how to use a metal detector. Unfortunately I didn’t find any gold however I found an old railway spike, two hot rocks and several pieces of lead. We had a fun weekend and made some lovely new friends.
You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

My inspiration comes from a Scrapbook Layout on page 19 of the May-August 2026 Catalogue.

I liked the triangle detail on the above layout, don’t tell Marvi I CASEd something that had a dog on it haha.

My card base is Hydrangea Hue followed by layers of Basic White then Barely Blush. I cut four rectangle from some Bloom Boutique SDSP then cut them in half diagonally to make my triangles.

The “Happy” is die cut using the Words & Wishes Dies. The bottom layer is Basic White and the top layer is Gold Foil Sheet. The “Birthday” has been Gold Heat Embossed on Hydrangea Hue cardstock. To finish off my project I’ve added a few Sunset Sparkle Sequins.

Marvi was helping me in the office today. He’s not been his usual self the last few weeks and a trip to the vet revealed he’d somehow hurt his back and an X-ray confirmed he has osteoarthritis in both of his hips. As he is 13 1/2 years old I assumed he would have arthritis however we have no ides how he hurt his back. If you look at the fur under his chin you can see where the vet has shaved off his fur.
It’s time to hop over and see Kathryn’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
