Hello and welcome to my blog. We’re CASEing from the July 2026 Online Exclusives, there’s so much to choose from I had a hard time deciding what to CASE. I’m using the Online Exclusive Botanical Expressions Die which is part of the Botanical Expressions Bundle.

I loved this card so much I’ve almost CASEd it 100% the same as the sample card.

My version of the card is slightly different but I just love how easy this shaker card is to make.

I cut a piece of Basic White to the same size as a card front then ran it through my Cut N Emboss Machine with the Botanical Expressions Die. The Botanical Expressions Die cuts a leafy window that adds depth and interest to the card design. Next I used a Blending Brush with some Lost Lagoon, Old Olive and Garden Green ink and coloured the Basic White under the leaves. I created the “splotches” with my Water Painter. I also die cut the leaves in Old Olive then overlayed some of the white leaves with Old Olive leaves.

To create the “shaker” element I cut down a clear cello bag to fit behind the die cut leaves and filled it with some retired Loose Gold Sequins then adhered it behind the die cut leaves, so simple. I’ve added some Baker’s Twine and a sentiment from the Phrases & Frames stamp set.

Marvi was “helping” me in my craft room today. When I say “helping” I really mean playing with the twine and basically knocking everything on my desk onto the floor. He did stop causing chaos long enough for a photo with my card.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we’re CASEing the Colours of Scenic Coast Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP). You may have hopped over from Monique’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

The colours in this SDSP are Azure Afternoon, Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushel, Crushed Curry, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Hydrangea Hue, Melon Mambo, Night of Navy, Petal Pink, Poppy Parade, Real Red, Strawberry Slush. I thought the easiest way to CASE these colours was to use the SDSP.

I’ve CASEd the card on the left hand side of the above graphic. Instead of featuring a lighthouse I’ve featured some fern leaves.

My card base is Secret Sea followed by a layer of Scenic Coast SDSP. I’ve used the Spotlight On Nature Dies to die cut a circle in the SDSP. I’ve layered another piece of SDSP behind the first piece. Don’t you just love the gorgeous coastal sunset. The sunset features iridescent details which is hard to see in my photo. I’ve die cut a few fern leaves using the Flora & Fauna Dies from the left over pieces of the SDSP.

The sentiment is from the Phrases & Frames stamp set and is White Heat Embossed. I’ve added a few Sunset Sparkle Sequins to finish off my project.

Marvi was back on his favourite mat sunning himself, or at least half of himself. He even managed to open his eyes but only for a moment.

Hello and welcome to my blog. We’re CASEing our Favourite DSP this week. You may have hopped over from Monique’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve CASEd a card on page 52 of the Catalogue using Nature Walk DSP. Although this DSP isn’t in the current catalogue it’s still available for purchase here in Australia and it’s perfect for masculine cards. The rich distressed patterns in this paper pack hint at nature, adding an organic touch without overpowering your designs.

I do like this version of the card however I’ve chosen a different colour palette for my card.

My card base is Thick Basic White followed by a layer of Nature Walk DSP. The next layer is a piece of Vellum Specialty paper which has been embossed with the Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder. Using my Stampin’ Positioner the large leaf is stamped in Peaceful Pine on some Peaceful Pine Pearlised Specialty Paper. I then stamped over the image in Versamark and added some Clear Embossing Powder and heated.

It was difficult to photograph the pearlised and embossed shine. The leaves have been die cut using the Nature’s Symphony Dies. The sentiment is from the Nature’s Symphony stamp set. I’ve also added some Gold Striped 3/8″ Mesh Ribbon and a few Dewdrops Embellishments.

Marvi was sitting on his mat watching a bird that was sitting on the fence. I got a few pictures but this was the best of the bunch. He just wouldn’t look at the camera because the bird was far more interesting.
