Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing A Scrapbook Layout. You may have hopped over from Rebecca’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.
I’ve CASEd a scrapbook page on page 21 of the Catalogue, I think Julia and I have actually CASEd the same layout however our cards are completely different.
I loved the red scalloped detail on the above layout so that’s where my card started.
My Card base is Thick Basic White followed by a layer of Pretty Peacock. Next I’ve added a layer of Whispering Woods DSP which has these gorgeous trees on it. When your DSP is this pretty why not use it to its full potential. I’ve used some Nature Walk DSP for the scalloped detail along the bottom of the card.
The Silver Foiled reindeer’s are from the Graceful Evergreen Deer Hot Foil Dies. The sentiment is from the Soiree Salutations stamp set and is Silver Heat Embossed on Pretty Peacock card stock.
Marvi was hanging out in my craft room so I got a quick photo of him and my card. He’s even looking at the camera, sort of haha.
