Hello and welcome to my blog. I’ve been MIA from CASEing the Catty for a couple of weeks. Last weekend I volunteered in the scoring office at a 3 day sporting event and the weekend before that I had a lovely weekend at the Tamborine Mountains.
This week we’re CASEing from the new Catalogue as it went live on Tuesday the 2nd of May. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.
I’ve kind of combined two cards from page 19 of the Annual Catalogue, using the Lazy Days Bundle.
This Bundle was one of the first things on my wish list. I think the bundle is so versatile.
My card base is the returning colour Misty Moonlight followed by an embossed layer of Basic White. I’ve used the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D embossing folder to make it look like leaves hanging from the fancy trellis. My fancy trellis is die cut in a new In Colour called Pebbled Path and there’s a Night of Navy vine creeping up the trellis pole. I’ve used some Countryside Inn DSP to die cut the rug that my rocking chair is sitting on.
I’ve also added a bird feeder, pot plant, bird and a little rug is slung over the arm of the chair. This scene could be your front verandah or your back pergola, I can imagine sitting in that chair on my back verandah having a very Lazy Day lol.
Here’s Marvi having a Lazy Day on my back verandah, all he needs is a rocking chair and a comfy blanket.
