CTC264 – Week 1 – Case a Card from the Mini Catty and Give it a Masculine Twist

Hello and welcome to my blog. I can’t believe it’s Sunday night already and time for a new Challenge. This fortnight we are CASEing a card from the Mini Catty and giving it a masculine twist.

I’ve used the Koala card on page 20 as my inspiration, mainly using the diagonal background and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

To make my card more masculine I’ve used a card base of Basic Black with a layer of Crushed Curry.

I’ve also added a diagonal layer of Golden Honey SDSP. My Gold Heat Embossed lighthouse is sitting on a Whisper White Stitched So Sweetly Die cut rectangle.

I’ve stamped the compass and seagulls in Black Memento. The lighthouse has been die cut from the rectangle and raised up to give it some dimension. The sentiment is from Sailing Home and is also Gold Heat Embossed.

Mr Marvi was not that interested in my card this week. He was just happy to be allowed on the kitchen bench for a photo.
