Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s been another hectic week with work, two card classes and more family birthdays, with my little sister turning fifty. I also sold my car (so sad to see Harry the Honda go after 10 years), arranged a roadworthy, bought another car and today we’ve had a family BBQ for Father’s Day, what a week!!! Say hello to my new car, I’m still deciding on a name for him. Do you give your car a name? I’d love some suggestions.
This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing a project from the Die Bundle section of the Annual Catty, pages 173-179. You may have hopped over from Monique’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.
I’ve CASEd the “Beautiful World” card at the top of page 174. I don’t have any of the Beautiful World Bundle so I used one of my favourite bundles, Boho Indigo.
My card base is Night of Navy with layers of Seaside Spray and Whisper White. I stamped my sentiment and added a strip of Boho Indigo DSP to my Whisper White layer then embossed it with the Subtle embossing folder.
I’ve die cut a mason jar from the Boho Indigo DSP then added some Gold Foil leaves and some Boho Indigo die cuts with gold foil accents.
I’ve finished off my card with some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots and Boho Indigo Gold 1/4″ Pleated Gold Ribbon. There’s so much to like in the Boho Indigo Product Medley, check it out on page 9 of the Annual Catalogue.
Mr Marvi was pleased with my card this week. He’s still not too sure about the new car, but he’s happy to pose with the card.
It’s time to hop over and see Kathryn’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
Thanks for stopping by.
Love the combination of the boho indigo with the jar punch. What a brilliant idea!! Gorgeous card.
I love how you have transformed this sketch! I love the texture of the embossed background. And how about Racy the Range Rover!
Beautiful card, Peta. Love the embossed background. Lovely pic of Marvi, too.
Congrats on the new car PETA, it’s a big beast! We usually have names for the Navman, not always polite either. Love the way you’ve adapted the design you’ve CASEd to different products.
Hmm Ralph the Range Rover. Ryder? Riley?

Oh, I like Ralph
Love the card. How about Reggie Range Rover.
You have had a busy week. The first name that came to mind was Randy the Range Rover. Lol. Lovely card. Great colour choice.
I absolutely name all my cars, my last one was Bodecia and my current one is Oliver 😛 All important inanimate objects in our house get names. Love the Rangie, Ralph is good and also Rory. As for your card, it is very beautiful, I really am getting talked into the Boho medley by all these gorgeous creations. The gold pieces really finish it off.
Your card is so pretty! I love the jar of flowers, but the floral DSP down the side of the card is just gorgeous!
