Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing a Watercolour Project, from either catalogue. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.
I’ve CASEd the “Life is better with friends like you” card on page 72 of the Annual Catalogue.
I’ve changed the colours and the orientation of my card but still kept very close to the original layout.
My card base is Pacific Point followed by a layer of Shimmery White. I’ve used Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Balmy Blue to create the watercolour wash background. The fussy cut flowers are from the Quiet Meadow stamp set and are White Heat Embossed then watercoloured with Pacific Point.
The sentiment is from the Charming Sentiments stamp set and is die cut using the Merriest Frames Dies. I’ve added a few of my favourite embellishments, For Everything Fancy Sequins.
Mr Marvi was posing nicely this week although I’m not sure he likes my card, his face says it all.
