Hello and welcome to my blog. This weeks challenge is to CASE anything from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue. There’s so much inspiration in this catalogue, what will you CASE? I started looking through the Catalogue and only got to page 27 before I found my inspiration. The little square “Thank you” card on the right hand side caught my eye. The sample card uses some Masterfully Made DSP as the background however I made my own background.
The pattern on the DSP background has layers of Lemon Lime Twist paper that’s been torn on the bottom edge. I’ve used a die from the Gorgeously Made Dies to give a similar look.
I’ve changed the colour of my card to Lost Lagoon, Pool Party and Orchid Oasis. I’ve used a sheet of Inked Botanicals DSP and Pool Party card stock for my layers. I’ve blended a little Pool Party ink on the card stock layers. I’ve hand cut a Basic White banner and used the Two-Tone Flora stamp set to stamp the flowers.
The sentiment is from the Earthen Textures stamp set. I’ve layered some Orchid Oasis 1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon behind the sentiment then added some Festive Pearls.
Sometimes you just have to get a picture when you can with Marvi. Here he is sleeping on my bed. He did open his eyes slightly when I leaned the card on him but he didn’t move otherwise.
