Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing a card from page 1 of the Annual Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

I’ve CASEd the “So Grateful” card on the left hand side of the above graphic.

I’ve started with a Thick Whisper White card base then trimmed 2.5cm off the right hand side. I’ve added another piece of Whisper White, it’s been embossed with the new Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. This embossing folder looks so good in real life. I’ve used an Ornate Layers Die on a piece of Crumb Cake card stock then adhered that over the top of my embossed card front.

I’ve used the “holly” stamp from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set to stamp my holly in Crumb Cake ink. The sentiment is White Heat Embossed on Real Red card stock. A Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon bow finishes off my card perfectly.

Mr Marvi was relaxing on the mat so I took a quick picture while he looked like he’d be in a co-operative mood. Some days it takes me forever to get a decent picture of him lol.

Hello and welcome to my blog. Can you believe it’s only 40 days until Christmas? Even with such a difficult year, where has the time gone? We have five more CASEing the Catty challenges before we take a break over Christmas. We’d love to see your creations.

This week we are CASEing the Colours of the Cards on Page 18 of the Annual Catalogue. The colours are Mint Macaron, Soft Sea Foam, Gray Granite, Blushing Bride, Petal Pink and Whisper White. I’m using Gray Granite, Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam and Whisper White. I hadn’t used my Blends for a while so I decided to colour a piece of Peony Garden DSP with a couple of the challenge colours.

My Card base is Gray Granite with a layer of Petal Pink. The DSP has been coloured with Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Blends. I’ve left the leaves white and added some Wink Of Stella to the flower stamens.

I wanted the coloured DSP to be the hero of my card so I didn’t add many embellishments. Some co-ordinating Gray Granite Shimmer ribbon down one side and a Champagne Foil Ornate Frames Die cut and sentiment.

I’d been looking after Mike for a week, my friends dog, so Marvi was not a happy kitty having a dog in the house. He’s looking a bit grumpy today even though Mike went home on Thursday.

I’ve chosen the “May Your Season Sparkle” card in the middle of the page.

My card base is Smoky Slate with a layer of In Good Taste DSP then a banner of Misty Moonlight. I’ve embossed the banner with one of the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folders and added some Silver Metallic Mesh Ribbon down each side of it.

The reindeer and leaves are die cut from the North Pole Wonder Dies. The sentiment is from Poinsettia Petals and is stamped in Misty Moonlight on Whisper White card stock.

I took an action shot of Marvi, his paw is ready to have a swipe at my card. I probably shouldn’t have had the corner of the card hanging over the edge.
