Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s been a busy week this week with work, classes, friends and family. I can’t believe it’s Sunday already and on Tuesday it’s the first day of Winter. I’m already feeling the cold here in Queensland.
This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing from the All Occasions section of the Annual Catty, pages 10-59. You may have hopped over from Rachel’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.
I’ve CASEd the “a little note” card on page 26. I love how the background is done with masking and blending brushes.
I’ve followed the layout of the sample card but changed the colour of the card base to Soft Succulent.
I’ve used Crumb Cake and Soft Succulent for the blended background and Evening Evergreen for the stamped images. The DSP is Sweet Symmetry, I think it works well with the Soft Succulent. The “gum nuts” have been Gold Heat Embossed then fussy cut.
I’ve added a Twine bow and used some retired Gold Wink Of Stella to flick some extra shine onto my card.
Marvi is in mid scratch but I do love the look on his face. Maybe next week we’ll get a better photo of him.

I love your card. The green looks great for the base and the soft succulent and crumb cake blend well together.
Your card is fabulous! I love the earthy colour combo, and the gold flicked over the top is a wonderful finishing touch.
