Hello and welcome to my blog. Can you believe it’s CASEing the Catty’s 7th Anniversary tonight? Happy Anniversary to us!!!
This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing the Christmas section of the Annual Catalogue, pages 88-95. I’m not sure about you but I’m not really ready for Christmas just yet. In saying that I did make a Christmas card for this challenge. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

I’ve used the red snowflake card on page 90, as my inspiration this week.

I’ve used the Encircled In Beauty Dies to create a Christmas bauble.

My card base is Evening Evergreen layered with Blackberry Bliss and Smoky Slate. I’ve added some new Specialty Silver Foil from the new July-December Mini Catalogue behind the largest die cut. Then layered an Evening Evergreen and Blackberry Bliss die cut to create my bauble.

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Deer stamp set and I’ve added a bow of retired Fresh Fig 1/8″ Sheer Ribbon.

Mr Marvi was out soaking up the sun again but this week I managed to get a better photo of him with my card.
It’s time to hop over and see Kathryn’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
Great colour combo and such a great way to create the bauble by layering the dies.
Ooh, that layered bauble looks amazing! Great colour combo too, such a beautiful card.
Peta your card is so striking. I love the colour combination you have used on this and how you have used the negative space to show off the shimmer vellum. I also like the clean white space you have left to let the centre image just shine.
A fabulous colour choice Peta, very eye catching.
WOW, so opulent and luxurious and intense amazing colours!! This is a fabulous card.
Definitely a winner on the colours you’ve chosen. I think Marvi is waiting to pounce on that cute bow!
Wow that’s beautiful!! I love the colour combo.
