CTC Sunday Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing any project from the 2022 January – February Sale-a-bration Catalogue. I’ve CASed the card in the bottom left hand corner of page 16. The sample uses the Host stamp set, Calming Camellia, but I’ve used the Flowing Flowers stamp set instead.

I’ve changed the colours but kept the same layout. This layout would work in any colour but, in my opinion, a little bit of Mango Melody goes a long way.

My card base is Rich Razzleberry with layers of Basic White and Fresh Freesia. I’ve cut a few Fresh Freesia panels and placed them behind the stamped Vellum. Have you seen the Vellum Layering Designs on page 33 of the Mini Catty? They’re part of the Artfully Composed Suite and oh so beautiful. And yes, you can stamp on them.

The sentiment is from the new Sentimental Swirls stamp set and is stamped in Fresh Freesia on Basic White Cardstock. I’ve used the Tasteful Labels Dies to die cut the sentiment. To finish off my card I’ve added some Baker’s Twine and some Polished Dots.

I think Marvi liked my card this week. Seconds after this photo was taken he tried to remove the Baker’s Twine bow, lucky the card did not sustain any permanent damage lol. It’s actually his 9th Birthday today. Happy Birthday little monster.
