Hello and welcome to my blog. I hope you had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. My year didn’t end very well as I was sick the week before Christmas, I even had a short stay in hospital and yesterday my Dad was in hospital with a suspected heart attack. Thankfully we are both doing much better.
To start the new year we are CASEing from the Jan – Feb 2023 Sale-a-bration Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Rebecca’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’m using the “Hello” card on page 10 as my inspiration.

Instead of using the Favoured Flowers DSP I’m using the Ready To Ride SDSP. Most of this SDSP is themed around motorbikes however there’s a couple of sheets that have this beautiful floral pattern. The black background is black foil which gives the card a lovely shine.

My card base is Smoky Slate with layers of Ready To Ride SDSP. I’ve used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut the smaller piece of SDSP.

I’ve added some Grey Granite 1/4″ Shimmer Ribbon behind the sentiment. The “hello there” is from the Around The Bend stamp set and is stamped in Highland Heather.

I think Mr Marvi has missed posing for photos as he was sitting here just waiting for me to finish my card. It’s actually his 10th Birthday tomorrow, I must remember to get some prawns out of the freezer as a special Birthday treat.
It’s time to hop over and see Monique’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.

Happy Birthday, Marvi! Enjoy those prawns. I’m sorry to hear that both you and your dad have been unwell, but glad to hear that you’re on the mend. Your card is gorgeous – I had no idea that the motorbike paper included florals! You’ve showcased the paper so beautifully.
