Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we’re CASEing anything from the Jan – April 2023 Mini Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.
I’ve used the new Around The Bend Dies to CASE the “I’m just so happy for you” card on page 35.
I’ve kept fairly close to the layout but I’ve changed the colours and used some gorgeous new DSP’s.
My card base is Thick Basic White followed by a layer of Dandy Designs DSP (SAB Catty). I’ve then die cut a piece of Delicate Desert DSP with the Around The Bend Dies. I love how the colour variation on the DSP makes the flowers look. I’ve also die cut some extra leaves in Calypso Coral, Soft Succulent, Pale Papaya and Fresh Freesia.
I’ve stamped the die cut Stitched Rectangle in Calypso Coral using the Go To Greetings stamp set. Then I added some Daffodil Delight flowers and some For Everything Fancy Sequins. I wouldn’t normally use these colours together but I think it really works.
Sometimes with Marvi you just need to take a photo wherever and whenever you can. Please excuse my messy craft desk.
