Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we are CASEing from the Sale-a-bration Brochure. You may have hopped over from Kathryn’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.
I’ve chosen to CASE the card on the far left of page 12 in the SAB Brochure. This card uses the Heart Shaped stamp set to create the background.
I’ve used the Pick A Season stamp set to create my background. Pick A Season stamp set can be used for all seasons, you just choose which season by stamping the relevant stamp amongst the tree branches.
My card base is Thick Basic White followed by a layer of Soft Sea Foam. I’ve stamped my background in Old Olive and Pretty In Pink. I just love how this turned out, would you even pick this has been stamped with a tree stamp?
I’ve used the Nested Essentials Dies for the Gold Heat Embossed sentiment and the Flowers of Beauty Dies for the little flowers. I didn’t have any small gold “bling” so had to use some retired Festive Pearls.
I just caught Marvi before his 8am nap. It’s been so hot here in Queensland yet he always lies near the window hoping to get some sun.
